Product accreditation provides added assurance
DALLAS, TX – MAY 24, 2024 – International cybersecurity specialist Armor has today announced that it has achieved TX-RAMP certification for two of its leading cybersecurity products.
The leading cyber defense organization has been awarded Level 2 certification for its prominent Armor Anywhere product, as well as for its private cloud product Armor Enterprise Cloud.
TX-RAMP (the Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program) certification is independently assessed, presented by Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to companies who demonstrate that their product or service meets the extensive cybersecurity standards required by the State of Texas.
Established in 2021, TX-RAMP provides a standardized approach for security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring of cloud computing services that process, store, or transmit the data of a state agency.
Armor underwent a rigorous evaluation process to earn Level 2 certification, with various aspects of its operations, processes and adherence to industry best practices assessed.
The successful attainment oqf the certification reinforces that Armor products comply with the highest security standards and deliver increased levels of assurance to existing and prospective customers.
Achieving Level 2 TX-RAMP certification for our Armor Anywhere and Armor Enterprise Cloud products has been a key strategic priority. The needs and requirements of our customers always comes first and this certification demonstrates that our solutions meet the superior standards required to safeguard the data and privacy of the institutions we serve. The accreditation will provide added assurance to our existing clients and will also enable us to offer our products to more organizations.
TX-RAMP is the latest in a long list of independent accreditations for Armor who also hold HITRUST CSF, PCI DSS, ISO27001, SOC2 Type II, and Data Privacy Framework certifications.
